ACT Fire & Rescue currently on scene at an office building on London Circuit, Civic investigating a smell.

Approx 30 staff have been evacuated from the ground floor as a precaution as crews carry out air monitoring and ventilation till allow occupants to re-enter the premises.

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are also on scene assessing five patients who are experiencing mild nausea and vomiting.

ACT Fire & Rescue crews are about to depart the scene from the 12 storey office building as staff are permitted to return inside.

Smell has been identified to originate from a drain in a kitchen waste area.
