Territory and Municipal Services have let it be known that while much has returned to normal, some things remained closed after the flooding at the start of the month:
• Corin Dam (Namadgi National Park)
• Swamp Creek (Murrumbidgee River Corridor)
• Discovery Trail (Cotter River)
• Lyrebird Trail (Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve)
• Cascades Trail (Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve)
• Eucalypt Forest Trail (Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve – note the Koala display section is open)
• Bendora Dam Road
• Corin Road at the Namadgi National Park boundary
• Sunshine Crossing
• Angle Crossing

I had no idea where Swamp Creek Reserve was until just then when I googled it. I drove past there a couple of weeks ago and the reserve had at least three family groups BBQing and picnicking happily. I wonder if they knew it was shut?
