People have been starting to wonder when we’d hear from the Liberals about their shadow ministry.
The Government is well and truly back into governing. Where is the opposition paid to scrutinise them?
A request to Zed’s office for news on their timetable for this important annoucement garnered this response:
Nothing decided yet, will let you know when it has been.
The wait goes on.
UPDATE 23/11/12 11:25: Zed’s office now informs us there will be an announcement on Monday.

Isn’t it time that we put Zed to bed, and got ourselves somebody better instead?

But I think I saw a story on WIN News last night (Thurs) about the Libs shadow ministry with on-screen graphics listing shadow ministers and their portfolios.

Libstaffer: “Crap. Crap squared.” [Slams phone down. Types email: "Nothing decided yet, will let you know when it has been."]
Libstaffer: “The shadow cabinet!”
Zed: “The what?”
Libstaffer: “The shadow cabinet! And…you know…the whole Assembly thing…”
Zed: “Crap. How’d we forget about that? Actually, how’d YOU forget about that??”
Libstaffer: “You’re the frakkin leader!”
Zed: “Oh yeah. Umm…tell them we’re almost done and we’ll be making a big shiny announcement on Monday. That’ll make it look like we’ve been working right through weekends on this most critical of decisions for the alternative ACT government.”
Libstaffer: “But I already emailed them saying we’d get back to them…”
Zed: “Frak. Frakfrakfrakfrak… Tell them that anyway. Maybe they won’t notice.”
Libstaffer: “Done. They noticed.”
Zed: “Frak.”
Zed: “What’s the date?”
