Do you know a group or individual who does a lot for the environment? Give them a nomination then.

Minister for the Environment and Sustainable Development, Simon Corbell called today for nominations for the 2013 ACT Landcare Awards.
“Landcare is a strong and lasting community movement and the Landcare awards are an important event that recognise and promote the strong role community play in protecting, conserving and restoring our environment,” Mr Corbell said.
“I urge Canberran’s to nominate friends, family or colleagues who undertake this important role within our community and ensure their efforts are recognised and supported into the future.”
The Awards are open to farmers, Landcare and Parkcare groups, businesses, schools, youth groups or individuals who are involved in helping the Territory manage the environment.

Go on, they would do it for you.
