Triple J for Tuggeranong

Our Liberal Senator Gary Humphries has announced victory in his quest for improved radio services in the Tuggeranong Valley.

Improvements to the transmission infrastructure at Tuggeranong Hill will ensure the ABC can then broadcast Classic FM and Triple J to the Tuggeranong Valley which will be of particular benefit to people living in Kambah

There is, however, a possible obstacle to Gary bringing home the bacon to his despereately needed Tuggeranong voters:

Broadcast Australia will soon lodge a development application with the ACT Government to upgrade the existing transmission facilities on Tuggeranong Hill. Providing the necessary development approvals are obtained, the ABC expects that the Classic FM and Triple J radio services will commence from Tuggeranong Hill around July 2007.

Anyone think the ACT Government is above throwing some spanners in the works of Gary’s efforts to get re-elected?

Has anyone noticed how much they’re flogging that new Jamie T song – ‘she goes out with her mate stella/gets poured all over her fella/cause she says money ain’t no better/than the next man kickin up fuss’ or lyrics to that effect…. kinda catchy, but it’s been on super-high rotation, played several times a day every day… jjj has a tendency to do this with acts they want to promote (particularly english acts – arctic monkeys and lily allen come to mind).

I woke up this morning, with a bad hang over, and my penis was missing again, it happens all the time, its detachable.

Cool

Now my daughter can sing along to the ‘detachable penis’ song again.
