Am i ever gonna see your face again? Unlikely choice for family festival?

They’ll probably sing the original single version released in 1976 and recorded again on the 1977 album The Angels without the guitar riff. The, ah, “accoutremants” were added by the punters during live performances.

Am i ever gonna see your face again? Unlikely choice for family festival?

A pity those of us from elsewhere who want to keep fit have to fight our way through Tuggeranong bogans and their debris.

How do you know the “Tuggeranong bogans” aren’t a bunch of blow-ins from other parts of Canberra, like yourself?

Besides which, you can always leave Tuggeranong to the “bogans” and swim elsewhere.

It really is open to some creative ribbing, much like the scouse olympics.

I’ve always found it to be quite fun.

Oh god, that’s on again. I’ll have to dodge empty beercans and bottles, cartons and other rubbish when trying to park my car at the pool on Monday morning.

A pity those of us from elsewhere who want to keep fit have to fight our way through Tuggeranong bogans and their debris.

Thanks for this post – in past years I haven’t been aware of the Festival until afterwards.
