I don’t live there, but the view of the ranges from most parts of Tuggers is amazing.
Yeah I love the red roofs too, and the wonderful sense of space in Tuggers that is missing in other areas of Canberra.
I remember when we moved here in 1969 there was a policy of not approving home plans with red roofs. The reason given was that “we don’t want the place to look like Sydney”. Most roofs in Canberra back then were black. Things have changed since then.

Btw it’s a shame they seem to have abandoned the policy of having a colour scheme for the area. The red roofs look so nice from this side.

Awesome pic. Will be interesting to see what the view was 20 years ago from that spot – and wonder what it will look like in 20 years time
