Territory And Municipal Services reports that their flooded Tuggeranong office won’t be open until 8 August:

Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) wishes to advise the public that the Canberra Connect Shopfront in Tuggeranong will stay closed for the remainder of this week.

This is to allow for damage, as a result of internal flooding, to be repaired.

It is now expected that the shopfront will reopen on Monday 8 August 2011.

Driver licence tests will still be conducted from the Tuggeranong Shopfront for those customers with existing bookings.

Members of the public are encouraged to use the Woden, Belconnen or Dickson shopfront and the Civic Driver Licence Service where possible.

The Tuggeranong shopfront seemed to be the only one where you could almost guarantee being in and out in under 5min outside of peak hours..

I hope it comes back just as efficient.
