Come along and support Menslink at the PM’s XI cricket match on Tuesday January 29th.
Menslink are a Canberra born and bred charity who have supported local young men for over ten years through our free counselling and mentoring programs. We strongly believe in the potential of all young men regardless of background.
We’ve been selected by First Bloke Tim Mathieson as the match day charity for Ricky Ponting’s last international game – this time against the Windies. We have five thousand thunder-sticks to give away on the day so come along, make some noise for the Aussie team and show your support for this great local charity by dropping a gold coin or two into a collection bucket. Your donation could make a big difference in the life of a young bloke.
If you’re interested in volunteering on the day or would simply like to know more about how Menslink helps young Canberran men (aged 12-25), talk to one of our volunteers on the day or visit www.menslink.org.au.
Behind every great woman there’s a great man. Good on you Timmy – young fullaz are the forgotten cause in a lot of ways.
I’ll be there and sure to throw some coinage your way.

Well done 1st bloke. Should people wear blue?
Chop71 said :
Chop71, we we’d be greatly appreciative and quite flattered if anyone should choose to wear the Menslink colours (blue & white)!
I am assisting a young man with a non-supportive background to acquire an apprenticeship and accommodation in Canberra; I will donate a couple of hundred dollars. Co-incidentally I texted him your Menslink group’s details a fortnight prior to Christmas after looking up support places for him; a fantastic group that will change this young fellow’s life.

the great man doesn’t have to be a partner – what about her father?

Scorpio63 – thanks so much for your generous support. Please let us know if we can assist this young man in any way.
