The Canberra Times reports that we’re to be well served with candidates running for crazy queenslanders.

Alongside Steven Bailey improbably being Bob Katter’s man in Canberra we now have a duo running for Clive Palmer!

The Good Samaritans chief executive officer Wayne Slattery will run for the Senate, while Tony Hanley will stand for the seat of Canberra. No announcement has been made for the ACT’s other seat, Fraser.

What an exciting election we have coming up!

That’s a let down. I was hoping John Bjelke-Petersen would be their candidate. Glenn Lazarus has obviously forgotten his Queanbeyan roots and is enjoying life playing golf at Clive’s resort at Coolum. Don’t you worry about that.
