The annual Wee Jasper Markets are on Sunday 6 October 2013, from 9am to 2pm at Fitzpatrick Trackhead Reserve.

The Reserve is 4km South from the village, follow the signs. Wee Jasper is 45 minutes from Yass or just over an hour from Canberra.

The Markets take place on Wee Jasper’s busiest weekend of the year when the beautiful valley hosts 1000s of visitors from all over the ACT and NSW. It’s a great day out for the whole family.

The market includes fresh produce, homemade goodies, arts and crafts, kidswear and furnishings, jewelry, woodwork, alpaca products, actual alpacas, olive oils, antiques, wire sculptures, trash and treasure and more. Stalls are still available from $15 each.

The Wee Jasper P&C uses the markets as a major fundraiser for the 9 student, WJ Public School. They’ll be selling bacon and egg rolls for brekkie, sausage sangas for lunch and cold drinks. There’ll also be fresh coffee, hot donuts, fresh orange juice and a variety of sweet treats available.

We are looking for one more savoury food stall, preferably with a vegetarian option on their menu – so if you know anyone….

Camping and other accommodation are available throughout the valley.
