I saw this when visiting the Civic library a day ago.
There’s nothing on the ACT Libraries website, and the lack of laptops in the library and the sign almost transparent and hard to see makes me think that no one else has noticed it.
I haven’t had a chance to test it, and I don’t know if other libraries are equipped yet?
Shouldn’t that be Wi-Fi?
Kingston does, and it’s used by a lot of people.
Ooooh, I’ll have to check Woden library at lunch.
The National Library in Parkes does. In the building and around the outside as well.
Does it play Dad’n'Dave? Or what about the Naked Vicar Show?
Since when did books require wires?
One would hope that they at least pick up the Goonies.

Ha! Classic. What about ‘The Green Lantern’?

Nope. Wi-Fi is a trade mark. If they wanted to get technical about it they could use “802.11 wireless” or “Wireless LAN”, but never Wi-Fi.
Books without wires, what will those boffins think of next.
Maybe the door is wireless and is one of those Star Trek “Shwoosh doors”…does it go Shwoosh?
They have a wireless? They’re called radios nowadays …
eh have a look at dis one edwin…..dis one got a WIRELESS
I used the Woden Library’s “wireless” while wandering past at lunch, it worked pretty quick for the distance.
