Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Chapman

At 8.15pm on Tuesday, March 14th, a man wearing a white monster mask and blue jacket entered the IGA Supermarket on Perry Drive in Chapman.

The man threatened the 17-year-old female shop assistant with a knife making demands for cash, and the shop attendant complied. The owner, Michael, then gave chase but the offender escaped with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery. ACT Policing are seeking witnesses.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 6082148. Information can be provided anonymously.
