Witnesses sought to suspicious fire in Kambah

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a grass fire which occurred in Kambah yesterday afternoon (Sunday, December 21).

About 6.20pm, police attended grassland at the rear of the BMX cycle track on Sulwood Drive.

ACT Fire and Rescue was in attendance and extinguished the fire. No properties were damaged.

ACT Fire and Rescue deemed the fire as suspicious and handed the scene over to ACT Policing.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding the incident or may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area prior to the fire.
