Vauxhall and I could NOT believe our eyes when we saw this gem at lunch. Akuna Club have a new sign to celebrate the arrival of Woodstock to their kitchen, well they actually still have their old one complete with errors galore in it, but this is a brand new one to add to the collection!!

I have never seen this variation of They’re/There/Their ever before!

We’re rooned!

Basic apostrophe instruction, from Bob the angry Flower:

Woodstock believe strongly in “Popular But Incorrect” Number 3.

What??! Ye gods! What next …?

I’m disgusted by this. The tradition of illiterate food signs has been rooned. There’s words there that end in s with NO APOSTROPHES.

Is pizza plural or are they just selling one pizza?

Ahhh … but look at what’s happened. People are talking about it. Viral marketing at it’s best 🙂

L

They’re getting closer each attempt… points for trying.

fonz IS cool but those signs are terrible!

tats awsum

Fonz is a good dude. I love the Akuna club.

or photos of them for that matter.

… at least we don’t yet have rumors of cockroaches!!

“Aww, cm’on, atl’east thie’yre tryin’!”

As opposed to their trying to make a pizza woth eating – and failing dismally…

Aww, cm’on, atl’east thie’yre tryin’!

Someone please call them and tell them to stop using apostrophes, because they always get it wrong. God forbid they try and contract “would not have” – they’d end up with four apostrophes, two commas and a semicolon.

And buy a ruler or right-angle, ffs.

Their getting closer 😉

Shouldn’t that be The’ir

Haha, Tards!
Let me see if I can find a cheap dictionary on ebay to send them.

yeah, i bet it’s there as a joke… well at least i hope…

ahahahaha – after the previous thread, that is hilarious

They must be taking the piss now.

Either that or “the’re” liking the publicity it brings them…
