Market? Whenever I go I always come away overcome with a crushing feeling of disappointment.

Perhaps that crushing feeling is ‘what you needed’. =-)

More to do with the lack of market vibe and more of extension of existing retail.

i {heart} gorman house markets. if nothing else, i go for my el salvadorian pupusa fix. the last time time i went i discovered to my delight that there was a new gourmet selection!!! then the quandry…. do i go with my tried and true favourite cheese & bean with extra chilli sauce…. or trial one of the new gourmet options?! as i had not been for a while, i went for a 2 favourite hit – but so going this saturday (if not hungover as a bastard from my departmental xmas do with its 5 hour open bar on friday arvo) to try a gourmet model! mmmmmm my mouth waters even thinking about it

I haven’t been to Gorman House markets for ages, and have other appointments on my social calendar this weekend. Can someone who’s been recently give a review on what kind of things are at the stalls? Might be a good place for last-minute Christmas present ideas on Saturday the 20th. Better than buying the usual socks and chocolates and bath stuff from the mall.
