TAMS are very upset that for some kids the closest they can come to living life to the full is spraying YOLO on the heritage hut at the Bendora Arboretum.
Rangers at Namadgi National Park are asking members of the public to report acts of vandalism, after the heritage-listed Bendora Arboretum Hut was graffitied with spray paint.
“Bendora Arboretum, situated in the picturesque Brindabellas, was established over 40 years ago. It’s the ACT’s only remaining historic Arboretum, and after surviving the 2003 bushfires, it’s disappointing to see people damaging such an important part of our cultural heritage,” Manager, Regional Operations, ACT Parks and Conservation Service, Brett McNamara said today.
“We’ve found similar graffiti in and around the Mt Franklin Visitor Shelter and suspect that it is the same vandals at work.
“We call on the Canberra community to come forward with any information that may help us find the vandals and help conserve and protect the natural and cultural values of our parks that surround the ACT.
If YOLO has passed you by Things Bogans Like once again explains.
