Having a look at the BoM observances for Canberra, 36% doesn’t seem out of the ordinary. I’m looking forward to the days when it drops into single figures… memories of childhood will bloom then.
Well, to comment on the more serious issues this outbreak of Brisbaney weather raises, my hair has been going hysterical. I had to have it straightened, as I don’t think an Afro would really suit me.
People do complain so easily about it being muggy, but it’s never anywhere near as bad even as on the North Coast. Or where I grew up… So some moisture in the air makes me feel at home.
I stopped over in Singapore a couple of years ago in May and there I did think I was going to die in the humid heat.
Hmm, a time stamp might be useful. As I write this the humidity is 51%.

I got woken up prematurely this morning by and remember thinking I could just about drink the air it was so humid.
Seem to recall that whatever website I was looking at then reckoned it was 80%+ relative humidity.

I always give 100%!!!1!
I am lapping this up…It actually feels like summer this year! 9 months of winter is way too long.
