The ACT Writers’ Centre will be running the first Canberra zine fair in goodness knows how long on the morning of Saturday 21 June at
Gorman House, as part of the Canberra Writers’ Festival.

Yeah, there’s been a few “adverts” of this type on RA lately. For goodness sake, I wish people would provide a short explanation/description of what it is they’re advertising, and not make the assumption that people will know. Also, as pedantic as this may seem, capitalisation in the title is important and gives it impact. “Zine Fair!”, as opposed to zine fair. Given this is the first ‘zine fair’ in “goodness knows how long”, a little bit of background would have gone down a treat. There is nothing in your advert that makes me want to go, tell my friends about it, or forward (by email) to ten of my enemies, sorry. Oh, look at that, a wikipedia link that tells me more about ‘zine’ … thanks, I think.
