You’re forgetting the Brave ice hockey team at home against the top of the table Newcastle North Stars on Saturday at 5:30pm.

Pretty bummed that the hothouse building demonstration is all booked out. Pretty valuable for those who like to grow their own food.

I was disappointed to miss out too. But I guess it is just a matter of building a frame and putting over a cover of some sort, allowing ventilation for hot days so it doesn’t overheat, and perhaps having extras inside to store heat, like bottles/containers of water, rocks, etc (to help the micro-climate).

Porsche Centre Canberra (Gulson’s) on Newcastle Street in Fyshwick has a full-size replica of the 919 Hybrid which won Le Mans this year. It’s here until next Tuesday IIRC.

For a Canberra region connection, Webber and his teammates drove their 919 to second at Le Mans, completing a Porsche 1-2.

Hopefully by writing that down here I won’t forget to go and look at it myself.
