Need a Hawaiian shirt!

This is legit, I swear! I’m looking for a shop in Canberra that stocks nice Hawaiian shirts – not the awful polyester/nasty plastic shirts that most shops seem to stock, but a nice cotton one.

The design doesn’t have to be nice, in fact the more garish the better! Just one that’s not going to make me sweat the instant I put it on.

Any recommendations? Any price, design doesn’t matter, just a nice comfortable cotton shirt.

Thanks!

yes you can check out Crown tailors of Bangkok, they can stitch with the best quality fabric and design that you offers, you can get them stitch any sort of garment, simply take a sample with you or mail them the picture of the shirt you want, they will get it down for you with best fabric and reasonable price, as a plus point for you, they visits Australia every march, even then you can easily get to them.

Thanks everyone! Will check them all out.

have you tried ebay? I picked up a nice one at “the way we wear” – but they’re not back until October.

Ivan’s in City Walk is the place for all things kitch in Canberra he has a comporehensive range of Hawaiian shirts, cant’t tell if they are nice, but they can be glimpsed from the doorway. If Ivan is not standing guard bouncer style in it.

I can’t help and wasn’t interested until you mentioned that the reason you want a cotton Hawaiian shirt was in order to produce sweat. Now I can’t stop wondering why you want to sweat, and specifically in a Hawaiian shirt, when a few woolly jumpers could probably do the trick?

… they have really nice ones, they call them Tiki Shits

Good god. Tiki Shits? That’s a bit rude, eh?

My recommendation is Hoolahoop, its a great little shop in Braidwood and they have really nice ones, they call them Tiki Shits and they’re excellent quality. Their site is http://www.hoolahoop.com.au/ it’s about a 40-60 min drive to Braidwood or you can order online

I don’t know any shops that stock them in Canberra but they pop up in ops shops all the time, though most of them are probably the polyester type from mens shops

Good luck : )

Lowes usually have a nice selection when summer gets a bit closer.

Vinnies and Salvos. You should be able to find a cotton one among the hundreds they tend to have in stick.
