What, no events at the infamous Pop-up Village? How could anyone look past this amazing space for a weekend long exhibition or event, pleasing crowds with its “airy” minus 2 feel and warm metal glow?

being mid-reconciliation week, nishi gallery, new acton: there is an interesting arnhem land rock art photographic exhibition that rioters may be interested in attending – http://www.hotel-hotel.com.au/blog/whats_on/fragile-first-impressions/

Christchurch village has a finished appearance that invites people to come and see what is on offer there. Sadly, our “pop-up” looks like a disused badly designed dump – sorry, no matter how we kids ourselves that’s what it looks like. The $1M donated by we ratepayers could, at least, have been used to provide a more attractive entrance, paving and a bit of scenery. As it is, there is an amorphous collection of apparently rusting containers rejected by our metal recycling centres. There is no more appropriate way to describe “junk” than “junk” and this is truly second rate JUNK!.

But is this relevant to what you are going to do this weekend?

Fundraising BBQ at Masters Majura Park on Sunday! Raising money for Canberra Cat Fix which helps low income families with the cost of desexing their cat 🙂

I think Masters should hold a fundraising BBQ for themselves they are losing so much money.

Haha, well hopefully enough people come to our BBQ and then go into Masters afterwards 😛
