3. Learn how to make non-dairy milk at Canberra Environment Centre
Find out how to make dairy free milks using almonds, cashews and coconuts on Saturday 30 May. Instructor Evangeline Lam will also show attendees how to make cashew nut cream cheese. Tickets cost $20, which includes all ingredients. More info.
4. St Clare’s College 50th celebration mass and open day
The only Catholic all-girls school in Canberra’s south celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and is hosting a mass and open day this Sunday to mark the occasion. Mass starts at 11am, with the fair running from 12pm to 3pm. There will be a sideshow alley, food and coffee, a jumping castle and a live performance by Drawing North. All welcome. More info.
5. Neverest at Corin Dam
Twelve teams will this weekend walk a grueling 75km, 9000-vertical metre trek above Corin Dam to raise funds for Nepal’s earthquake recovery. It starts at 9pm on Friday 29 May, with over 70 participants running through the night and into the following day. Head on down to catch the finish. More info.
6. Pot Belly Bar official launch
With new owners and a focus on craft beer and art, Pot Belly Bar officially launches this Saturday 30 May from noon to midnight. There will be craft beer, guided beer tastings, a live broadcast with Raw FM and more. More info.
7. Brumbies take on the Bulls at GIO Stadium

9. Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is on the road again with a colossal night of hilarity. The shows (7.30pm on Friday 29 May and Saturday 30 May) will feature some of the best home grown local talent and international superstarts from the MICF for an unforgettable night of untamed hilarity. 10. MS Walk and Fun Run
On Sunday 31 May thousands of people will come together in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne to walk and run in support of Australians living with multiple sclerosis. Canberra offers 5 and 10km options and more info is available here.
11. Revealing the Rothschild Prayer Book at the National Library of Australia
One of history’s greatest hidden manuscripts is on public exhibition for the first time in the southern hemisphere at the National Library until 9 August 2015. Admission is free. More info.
