Party animal that he is, Our Brave Leader, is celebrating “National Water Week” by combining the WaterSmart Homes and GardenSmart assessments for the one low-low price of $30!

What the hell are they you ask? Well they were formerly known as “Indoor and Outdoor Water Tune-ups” but that was obviously too comprehensible for the ACT Government.

Do what I did back on the farm: shit in a pit surrounded by corrugated iron and once in a while bucket the contents out and place it on the veges.

Ohh the pit needs to be outside.

“If everyone only flushed their toilet once a week, that’d save a lot of water.”

Who the hell is going to unclog that toilet when they press the button? -eewwww

Yes, but then they end up clogging up the health system – which would upset Katy – and Jon is running out of other portfolios to offer her!

Green Party Water Saving Tip # 384:

If everyone only flushed their toilet once a week, that’d save a lot of water.

And just think of the flow-on savings when all those resource consumers karked it from gastro, cholera and dysentery!

How do you flush the kitchen sink?

We got around the problem of having water saving shower heads in our new house by installing a double water saving shower head. The problem with the regular water saving shower heads is that it takes ages to get properly wet and properly rinsed off. With water coming from more than one direction I can soap up, wash hair and be rinsed and out in about 5 minutes. This means I stand under the shower for a total of about 15 minutes per month, whether I need to or not.

Same here VY

And I took the water saving washer out of the shower head. God I hate water miser showers.

I figure we will get water restrictions soon, so I am running the sprinkler on my front and back lawn every night to get it green enough to survive the drought.

I will celebrate national water week by having two showers each night as well as my regular morning shower.

More smoke and mirrors
The Fed govt are doing it via Turnbull
All the other state govts are doing along with many local councils so there is no reason JS can’t do the same.
The best solution is to eliminate teenage girls and we will save heaps of water.
