Every year, Archery Australia has a National competition and this year Canberra’s Tuggeranong Archery Club is hosting it.
Over 200 archers from across Australia (and one of New Zealand’s top compound archers) will be competing in Target, Field and Clout competition throughout the rest of the week.
Many archers have commented on the quality of the facilities available to the Tuggeranong club for this tournament and since the opening on Sunday the favourable weather conditions have already seen some excellent scores achieved.
With this event being used to help determine Olympic selection for the Recurve archers and World Cup selection for the Compound archers, there is likely to be some fierce competition amongst the eligible ranks.
