2024 Parliamentary sitting calendar released

The government has released the Federal Parliament sitting schedule for 2024.

The calendar shows that there will be 49 joint sitting days spread over 13 weeks in 2024. The Senate will sit for an additional eight days over five weeks, while the House of Representatives will sit for an additional 15 days over four weeks.

Just three months will have no sitting days – January, April and December – while the federal budget sitting period will be from May 14 to 16.
