unfortuneately the AAC is not allowed to hold it’s own live shoots, however new policy has passed saying that cadets can patrol with the basic issue F88 Austeyr either innocous(working parts removed) or with the firing pin removed. This can be done on military property only (such as Majura FFR) not on private property and not used in such a way that they are not used in offensive manouvres (patrol Position only)
However the corps were promised .22 modified Austeyrs so they could hold their own range shoots under Army supervision, this has not come to be. We are also taking the advantage of the numerous errors and contradictions in the new policy manual which is not even typed up in the same font.

working with weapons are in a more senior rank and platoon group (such as our pioneer platoon) but if the need arrives we can mover it down to 2nd year students.

Do they at least get a look in with padded gladiator gear and sumo suits?

when i was a cadet we were allowed to use guns. these pissweak omark .22’s during the year and then at pucka on bivouac or annual camp the M-16.

had a ball.

after long years of anti-gun crusades id be surprised if cadets these days were even allowed to bear brooms.

Legalities say they have to be 12 when they Enlist on the 27th if not there is another round of recruiting next semester

I just want to know if they have to be 12 or turning 12 this year.

Thanks.
