Cool, can I borrow your TARDIS?

I took my train mad 7 year old to this about 9 years ago and he absolutely loved it.

The funniest thing was he was looking at a display saying ‘Wow that is is really cool’ when a older gent (70’s) standing over from us was saying exactly the same thing. For a few minutes they chatted happily on the relative merits of the set up..and then they both moved onto other displays. Priceless.

Has to be said there are some very serious looking older guys driving their train sets at those shows.
