The CT has put out this story on the expected 260 jobs cuts to the ACT PS with the first ones to come from the Chief Ministers Dept in an effort to save $3.25 million. Well they’ll be saving $300k just by getting rid of Rob Tonkin. Urban Services is set up to be hit the hardest with job cuts.

Bore them into taking redundancy anyway….

sneaky comrade….

Natural attrition? Does this mean that our glourious leader will start offering more internal ‘information sessions’ and boring some of his departmental colleagues to death?

I notice the treasurers beloved Australian Rules Masters got $1.5 million. Drink up boys the drinks are on Ted…..
Oh dear what have we done. Giving this lot a majority???????

Bizarrely they hope to achieve this by offering redundancies.

A 260 staff reduction could be achieved by natural churn and not filling jobs.

a bizarre decision.
