Come for a dance at the Polish Club!

The good old Polo continues to be possibly the finest venue for seeing live music with an awesome variety of well run gigs playing weekly, and tonight is your chance to celebrate that.

Check out the Facebook page for more info.

Once again the Canberra Musicians and Polish White Eagle Clubs are combining their awesome superpower energies to put on an evening of musical entertainment, this time in honour of the White Eagle’s 40th Anniversary.

Please join us for a dance, for some acknowledgement of the passing of time, for some free champagne and cake and hopefully a little slap and tickle in the back rooms later on.

Little known fact: The Polish Club was opened all that time ago by Cardinal Karol Józef Wojty?a, later to be known as Pope John Paul II.

The entertainment for the evening is two of Canberra’s finest sultry, jazzy, old-timey, swinging chanteuses, Alice Cottee with Dollface and Crystal Barreca’s Wanninashvilles.

Kopernik Polish Restaurant will be open from 6pm. Recommendation, order early.

Dancing will commence at 8.30pm with Dollface and continue till 11.30pm.

Entry: $15 (full)/$12 (conc.)/$10 (members of CMC & WEPC.)
