Woman dies following head-on crash near Goulburn

A 51-year-old woman has died after a head-on crash near Goulburn on Tuesday night (23 October).

Around 8:45 pm, a white Holden utility travelling north and a white Isuzu utility travelling south collided on Spring Street, Crookwell, about 40km from Goulburn.

The driver and sole occupant of the Holden, a 51-year-old woman, was thrown from her ute and died at the scene.

The 70-year-old male driver, who was the sole occupant of the Isuzu, was uninjured but was taken to Crookwell Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from the Hume Police District attended and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
