I reckon it was practice … new bunch of recruits now out and about learning on the job. For example, at 3.30pm today – what a great choice – there were eight police taking turns directing traffic at Hindmarsh and Hayden with the traffic lights turned off. I sat there wondering … and sat there … and sat there… why they did not choose a smaller, suburban intersection for this. Training is all well and good, but come on!

The Hayshed? Anne Derbashire?

I was going to put this up as a topic, but Lobo got in first! It was at Number 7, which for years was an egg farm. It how hosts a number of things, including some artists studios, and a horse arena.

The cops apparently turned up in several vehicles, which were left at the gate. The cops were described as being dressed up in “swat gear”, in formation, the guys at the front with big sheilds. They marched in, and emerged shortly afterwards with a bloke, and a rifle. They loaded both into a van, and left.
