Yes but what is each of the parties policies on plastic bags???

Sorry, channeling Mr G there for a while.

Word is the Pirate Party will be formally registered on the day after the election, as per the Electoral Act. The candidates will sit as Pirate Party Members in the Assembly if elected.

There’s an election? That explains that silly billboard with the dopey looking guy by the side of the road.

There is also a Quangers Council election coming up so the cars/utes with massive heads and names on them are out in force between Quangers and Canberra. Funnily enough, they all park on the ACT side of the border.

Great! More parties and candidates to put in front of The Greens. It should reduce the chance of Greens candidates being elected even further.

Gosh, I so much miss the Sunripened Warm Tomato Party, and the Party Party Party.

Harumph. That’s the Party! Party! Party! Party, thankee very much.

Might be time for the Abolish Self Government Party and the No Self Government Party too. Can’t hurt. Where IS Craig Duby? The only ACT Self Gov’t person to leave a useful legacy: the DubyDome.

Does bullet train for canberra have a plan incase they get all the votes?

I’d laugh really hard if one of them accidently won the election over one policy.

Things have become so cardigan wearing boring in Canberra politics.

Yeah, time to bring them back.

I’d like to see a government where 17 minor parties get 17 seats (note, the greens are not a minor party in this scenario). I highly doubt it would work but it would sure make for an interesting 4 years 🙂

yay! so many preferences to put before labs n libs!

Right now I’d put the ‘Land Rights For Gay Whales’ party ahead of the local Laboral party.

Land Rights For Gay Whales, are they the Greens?

Hmmm Bullet for Canberra, now that sounds like a party I’ll be voting for. Ohhh sorry I misread it. Pity.

I was thinking Steve McQueen was running, but sadly no…

Thumper 1:05 pm 07 Aug 12

Is there a no preference party?
