Hi,

I’m looking for a good acupuncturist in Canberra (preferrably in the South), can anyone recommend someone for me?

Thanks

when acupuncturists talk you should listen; they have a point.

there was a very good one in aranda, delightful name of bobo; he is a traditional chinese healer. should be in book, i guess…

Yes, nice work VP. You’ve really put the pun in puncture 😀
Ironically, the best acupuncturist IS actually in Pearce.
On Beasley St. Song and Yang Clinic.

Very good VP, Very good.

I looked around, but found it hard to pin down any particular practitioner. A real need’ll force you to make a choice though, but go to a doctor, rather than some sharp practitioner. There’s probably a good one in Pearce.

That sounds like something from the Offal thread. lol

I like the juxtaposition of this post and the stabbing one. Nice work, Johnboy.

I went to Kim Dudley for acupuncture to lose weight. Fail.

Need more information to answer usefully.

What are your criteria for ‘good’? Eg Kim Dudley at Griffith seems good if you go with the acupuncture + homeopathy + herbal business (and can cope with the crystals and dolphins in the shop). Wesley Smith seems to use similar approaches to acupuncture, but in more of a yoga framework and with no apparent dolphins. If you want hardcore Chinese GP production-line acupuncture, you have many choices.

Etc.

I suppose Lindsay Yates is gone from Canberra now? Anyone know? he used to practise at a clinic at the ANU, and was pretty impressive.
