Zwish are one of the more memorable local bands I’ve ever interviewed, they’re extremely funny people.

Bryn from the band has been in touch to let me know they’ve released their latest video onto YouTube.

It’s part of their ongoing series of videos using stop motion lego animation. The note on the video reads thusly:

“Deep in lego space a battle rages between two once proud warriors, now soldiers of fortune, over control of the magic wand”

Bryn’s a little worried they might have pushed the boundary of what YouTube considers acceptable and suggests that should the video go missing you can still check it out on Revver.

He also promises “no blow up dolls were hurt during the filming of this clip, not even
a little bit”

True, Holden! Now I have figured out what the chocolate milk is, I am left wondering why they are abseiling down the hygienically-challenged toilet.

typo on opening screen doesn’t do them any favours!!!

Given the nature of the clip, perhaps soilders was exactly what they meant, haha.

The clip got a mention in the CT back page column today. Not sure the ed watched it too carefully – some of it is probably a bit rude for CT methinks. (Although admittedly the poor focus and frame rate make it hard to see some of this)

Hint: the crying game

Epic clip!

Chocolate milk?

I don’t get it. What was the brown stuff supposed to be?

I normally quite like Zwish but in this case, for me, the weirdness of the clip is the best thing about it. The song itself? meh, not that impressed.
