ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished a small fire in an electrical switch board at the Mountain View Aged Care Facility, Goyder Street, Narrabundah.
No injuries.
Staff evacuated approximately 15 residents after noticing an electrical smell.
Crews are now conducting ventilation and air monitoring operations and will be departing the scene shortly.
Minimal damage.
Two fire pumpers on scene with the Breathing Apparatus Van, Hazardous Materials Unit and a Command Officer.
Crews alerted by an Automatic Fire Alarm at 2.20pm.
