What a huge day! First let me say: Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Secondly, let me apologise in advance for any typso as I’m a little pissy following the 4X finals this evening – and the final results. It was Aussie domination, as Canberra lass Caroline Buchanan won the elite womens 4X, and the Aussie Jared Graves won the mens! It was a great evening with hundreds and thousands of spectators on the 4X hill to see Aussie sporting history in the making.
Eariler in the day Aussie Mick Hannah topped the men in the timed downill runs.
In the XC under 23 mens race, South African, and ore-reac favourite Burry Stander took the rainbow jersey.
