ACTXI and India have finished their invitational test match with a draw this afternoon. Chris Rogers put on an impressive performance which may give him a spot on the Australian side for the upcoming third test. The visiting team found form with Virender Sehwag producing a 73 ball century after struggling in the previous tests again Australia. A solid effort by ACT kept India under pressure forcing the draw. A small yet, enthusiastic crowd cheered both teams at Manuka for the past three days. If anyone attended, please feel free to share you experience of the match in the comments section.

Agreed thumper, it would be priceless to see Tait taking the heads off the Indian openers with the new ball. A 193cm tall leviathan bowling at 160km at the WACA would be a sight to see.

I meant to say that India in general had good form, Sehwag was just a highlight with his centrury. That line also features a typo with “again”. Thats the last time I write on a weekend.

“The visiting team found form with Virender Sehwag producing a 73 ball century after struggling in the previous tests again Australia…”

If that is in reference to the previous Tests on this current tour, then there is a very good reason why Sehwag has struggled with the bat.

He didn’t play in either match.
