The Alice Springs Masters Games were held 13-20th October 2012 at the Alice Springs Aquatic and Leisure Centre, with five of our mighty Vikings Masters Swimmers representing.
This was an inaugural event which was held at the new 25m indoor pool, therefore all first placings created records for the events. Relays and the 1500m Freestyle were held in the outdoor 50m pool.
The Alice Springs Masters Games are most definitely the “friendly games”, with a party atmosphere and emphasis on having a good time.
Excellent results were achieved with Pam Munday winning the overall age aggregate trophy in her age group, winning gold in all of her six events.
