A business plan for the ESA

Simon Corbell has announced, as part of a busy day for him, that the Emergency Services Agency is going to get yet another re-organisation, but now has a “business plan”.

“The Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Simon Corbell, has today welcomed the release of a draft Emergency Services Agency (ESA) Three-Year Business Plan for public comment…

“This is not only a blueprint for our emergency services staff and volunteers but a joint plan with the ACT community.”

A joint plan eh?

Interestingly on the ESA website they’re pushing a “Community Charter” angle rather than Simon’s rather terrifying “business plan”. You can send your feedback on both plan and charter to esahaveyoursay@act.gov.au.

I’d like to see a 10 questions segment on this topic…

where’d that link go

It develops.

Hmmm… seems scarily close to 2003…

Watch ABC Four Corners on Monday 12 March to see how the bureaucracy has stuffed the ability of our fire fighters to put out fires quickly.

What do they need to say in a business plan other than “put fires out quickly” and “get sick/injured people to hospital, preferably alive”.
