It’s hard to say what I love more.

    1. An incoherent rant posted after midnight

    2. “Real Australians” getting angry that actual Australians don’t just automatically agree with them.

So it was like Christmas when the user “Motoristparty” dropped this spray at 00:17 last night:

#54 Motoristparty
12:17 am, 11 Sep 12

I don’t mind being called a redneck as there are only two. There are red necks and yellow necks and I would hate to be one of you the gutless yellow necks. You haven’t got the balls to be tough on anyone, its all free and easy, everyone can do what they like until it impacts on you then you cry and ring the cops. You never put your hand up and have a go. You just sit there behind your keyboards inside your miserable little lives achieving nothing and tapping out self righteous crap. Anyway one day you might find a friend and your lonely little world might come to an end. It will be necessary for you to wear a scarf at all times because your one friend you found in life wont be around long once he spots your yellow neck.

Some phrases are getting real over used, time to fix this:

Real Australians®
Australian Way®
Aussie Battler®

I’m going to go out on a limb here and try to interpret, coherently to the best of my (limited) ability, the post by #54 Motoristparty:

I admit I am a redneck. (unable to interpret this as it appears his meaning is different from the traditional meaning)
You lack initiative, allow excessive and gratuitous tolerance, and fail to react until it directly impacts your life.
You don’t take proactive action, but only whine on the internet.
Hence, you are forever going to be ostracised for your inaction.

Something like that?

Just like to point out that the Pirate Party does not have policies on:
* bashing Muslims;
* withdrawing for all international human rights conventions;
* “Real Australians”; or
* rednecks and yellownecks.

I like the cut of this guys gibberish, and I’d like to see some more.

Now this will, hopefully, win the Mully. It is most excellent.

Definitely deserving, in the true spirit of Mully. If he was alive today I bet he’d be a member of the AMP.

Mully, Justin Monfries, CRK, and Amber Westin can all be members.

No way. You have to have a license to be a motorist (legally anyway)…

Chic Henry has tweeted that their ‘polices/ideas/intentions are about to hit the streets. Stay tuned for practical and progressive thinking.’

For f***s sake. Progressive? Not a clue, not a freaking clue.

Would rather see a Liberal majority Govt than have this moron in the Assembly.

who’d think a party supporting ancient internal combustion engines would be “conservative” in other ways? this is shocking, I’m shocked.

Electric motors were invented around the same time as internal combustion motors.

Dr Koresh, I would never presume to be holier than you, I’m sorry if you feel that way. I don’t know you, I have no idea how holy you are, perhaps this feeling of unholiness is a manifestation of your own insecurities?

I have no reason to think it’s not legit.

but it’s legit to think it’s not reasoned… pity it lacks the usual fotm’s random capitALISATIon and appallingest grammar and misspellyngz, but a fair try.

another vote for willowjim’s succinctness.

The AMP are a bunch of twisted baboons but I’m actually finding your holier-than-thou self-righteous attitude even more distasteful than the tripe the motorists are serving up.
You’re not actually superior to everybody else in every single way, please go to redtube or the like the next time you’re feeling self-masturbatory, instead of trying to belittle people on RA.

Unfortunately, I think most people have taken up not feeding this kind of troll, so the discussion it generates isn’t likely to be enough to garner a Mully.

Nah i still got a dollar each way on a certain Anglican!

As I said in the other post: you do realise that the term %u2018yellowneck%u2019 was coined for soldiers who deserted the racist confederate army? Something to be proud of methinks.

The more I think about it the more it makes sense, bashing up muslim drivers, former one nation candidate, anti mosque on (lulz) traffic grounds, confederate flagging flying run of the mill Klan members.

What’s this then? I know about the former One Nation candidate (they’re upfront about it on the website) but I don’t know about the other things. Bashing up muslim drivers? Anti-mosque?

A classic example of a particularly unsophisticated form of dog-whistling, a ‘yellow’ technique to appeal to bigots without explicitly appealing to bigots. The AMP has expressed concern about ‘potential’ congestion generated by a yet-to-be built mosque, but have nothing to say when it comes to existing traffic disruptions caused by anything from Summernats, Raiders games, concerts, Floriade, Christmas services through to the various parking spectacles that occur every week day, traffic snarls, and road works; basically any situation that they think their ‘Caucasian’ vote might be a party to.

I especially love the bit about getting rid of United Nations conventions at AMC. Makes me wonder how many other internationally agreed human rights conventions might conveniently go out the window when its convenient. “Geneva Convention – nah mate this ain’t effin Switzerland” “UNICEF Convention on the Rights of the Child – well in theory yes unless the little buggers break the law” etc. hmmm

Canberra times article from last week. they were ‘targetting muslim drivers’ and were concerned about traffic flow around the proposed mosque – bit of a gotcah moment when the reporter asked if it would be ok if worshippers travelled by bus or walked…

though the article no lnoger mentions Muslim drivers…

Yeah, if it was any other party i would say fake acount, but i would lay money down that this is one of the actual candidates.

If this comment did in fact emanate from the MP then can i suggest that responding to ridicule from the ‘yellownecks’ on RA with vitriol is unwise given that it will do nothing except add fuel to the fire.

The 1st Alabama Cavalry Regiment (Union) have been heros of mine for many years.

Well they were rednecks weren’t they? lol

This is a sad post.

Sad because it reminds me how much I miss CrazyChester.
Even Mr Gillespie & Henry BG don’t measure up.

Well this sounds like exactly the kind of cool-headedness, ability to eloquently debate an issue on its merits and grace under fire that we’d expect in our elected representatives.

It’s their most coherent policy yet.

It was fun to wake up to. I’m not quite sure what it means but pretty sure there’s some drugs involved (ar at least I hope there’s drugs involved)
