ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an indecent assault which occurred on Tuesday night (May 17) in Dickson.

About 11.20pm a 19-year-old woman was walking along Cowper Street when she noticed a man following her. The man continued to follow her along Majura Avenue where he made several attempts to engage her in conversation.

The woman turned onto Stephen Street in Ainslie when the man approached her from behind, placed his hand between her legs and pulled her in close. The woman swung her bag at the man and ran home.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid twenties, about 173cm (5’ 8”) tall, with an athletic build, clean shaven with muscular, shaved legs.

The man was wearing a black T-shirt, light coloured underwear, a black hat and strappy, silver coloured high heels. He spoke with a soft feminine voice.

Anyone who may be able to assist police with the investigation are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

It’s his right to dress like a slut if he chooses to!

Apart from the beamer (or rather lack of) sounds a bit like the cross-dressing flasher from previous post. (Cross dressing BMW driving flasher).

I think I read a romance novel like that once. Police media having a slow week?

When Win news mentioned the story they didn’t mention the strappy sandles. You’ld think that would be the first thing they would comment on. Could mention a man in underwear but not high heels. Strange. Maybe not sensational enough for them.

Oh, I thought I saw him, but that one was wearing black undies, not light-coloured.

You’d certainly remember if you saw him in the supermarket, wouldn’t you. Hope the girl is okay.

Sounds like someone who could fill that 5th Cabinet position though!

Damn, my disguise has been compromised!

Think I would have gone to the first house I saw with lights on if I had a person dressed like that trying to engage in conversation with me how scary!!!!!
