For those Rioters with a photographic interest in the ACT region, the following link contains images of how the original inhabitants might have known the area. ‘Ngunnawal Country’ – a photographic journey
These photos are stunning – if you could get them put onto a calendar etc, I think you’d make a fortune! I understand that’s probably not your motivation for it though 🙂
Thankyou for sharing them with us 😀
Thank you. I enjoyed looking at the site.
Thanks for the comments. Re: Booroomba Rocks, the turn off to the rocks is from Old Boboyan Road (the back road to Adaminaby). When you get to the car park take the track to the top. The pic of the climbers was taken from the track which goes around the bottom of the rock face, it’s a good walk in itself with some great views. While your walking, check out the rock face as there’s many hooks and things hanging out of it that climbers have used over the years
Some great shots and spots in this collection! The panorama of Blue Lake is probably the best. And where is this Booroomba rock climbing site? I so want to dig out my climbing gear and take to the cliffs again…
Where is your favourite Thai food in Canberra?
