A theramin, live streaming, a film star and Science Fiction = FUN

This Friday and Saturday night at the Street Theatre Canberra audiences will be able to experience a night of Science Fiction fun at Impro ACT’s Starship Odyssey.

Starship Odyssey features the impressive talents of film and television star Jay Laga’aia (Star Wars, Daybreakers, Home and Away, Playschool) as well as the best and freshest of Canberra’s unscripted theatre actors. It will also feature the talents of Drita Moody on the theramin and some streaming video of the live performance.

Each night the audience will enjoy a first half of improvised comedy and drama scenes in which they will help decide the cast of a fictional sci-fi show. Then in the second half the audience will witness live the premiere episode of a sci-fi show that they help cast.

So come aboard Starship Odyssey and join the crew as the boldly create what no man has created before!

VENUE: Street One, Street Theatre, 15 Childers St, Canberra City West 2601

DATES: Friday 25 November and Saturday 26 November

This sounds great but it’s so frustrating that it’s only on for two nights. That’s a big problem in Canberra.
