ACT Policing arrested and charged a 22-year-old Franklin man yesterday afternoon (September 13) after he was caught driving while disqualified in the city.
Around 4.20pm, police observed a black Honda Prelude travelling along London Circuit in the city. The vehicle stopped in the taxi zone on London Circuit where police saw the driver and front passenger swap seats.
The vehicle then continued along London Circuit until police performed a traffic stop a short time later. The 22-year-old passenger was arrested and taken to the City Watch House.
He was charged with drive whilst disqualified, drive in a taxi zone and breach bail conditions. He will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
