This in from our friends at the ABC:

1. Chris Uhlmann reports on the boat tragedy.

2. The suburbs of Molonglo are taking shape – but have we learnt the lessons from Gungahlin?

3. Animal art – there’s a lot of it about in public spaces around Canberra.

4. A last look at Black Caviar – and all the Australians in London – before the race.

5. Sydney Dance company’s performance at the Canberra Theatre.

Although I appreciated the look at Molonglo and the forecast of road congestion ahead, I felt that the reporter should have gone in harder on Corbell.

His government has had ample time to plan, and will receive enormous amounts of revenue from land sales to build the infrastructure Molonglo needs.

Corbells grinning and giggling at serious questions, without really answering them is indicative of a government that arrogantly ssumes it is beyond public questioning.

Did the reporter ask the tough questions – and Corbell just inanely answered them, or was it a soft interview ? It’s hard to know after editing.
