The Canberra Times is reporting on the Bureau of Stats “Picture of the Nation” publication.

People in new suburbs have more babies. The Inner-South is home to more money.

One supposes there’s some value in confirming prejudices with data.

It’s only a rehash of the 2006 census. Anyone who has looked at that in depth won’t find much new, other than a bit of interpretation for the masses.

If you are bored (like me), check out the wording used. for example: excess of births over deaths. Gives you a feel for what the authors thing is good and bad.
