Accused Macgregor knife rapist

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations detectives from the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team, have arrested and charged a 22-year-old Macgregor man overnight for sexual assault.

Police will allege the man visited the victim’s address in North Canberra in the early hours of Thursday (January 13), and sexually assaulted her using a knife.

The victim, a 21-year-old woman, later attended the Calvary Hospital where she was treated for lacerations which required surgery.

The alleged offender will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (January 15), charged with sexual assault in the second degree, breaching a protection order and wounding. Police will be strongly opposing bail.

As disgusting as the crime is, it is also as disgusting that an innocent man is still in jail for a horrendous crime he didn’t commit! There is a ROCK HARD alibi as well as I believe no hard evidence has been found. He was in bed asleep and family can vouch for that. Knowing the accused I have no doubt in my mind that he did not commit the crime and he deserves to be set free and his name cleared. He would not hurt a fly and for him to be behind bars is completely unfair. Unfortunately this is the way of the justice system and only time will tell if the law will prevail! So to all you people saying horrid things about him the crime is “ALLEGED!!!!” Nobody is guilty until proven so!!!!

A good alibi is one that can be corroborated, preferably by several people. Nice attempt at a wind up, but your deliberate misspelling is a little too obvious.
