ACT Libraries full of Christmas crafts, story times, and also books.

ACT Libraries always seems to have some massive program or another running, it’s amazing they find the time to loan out books.

Here are their plans for the Christmas period, make sure to book ahead by visiting www.library.act.gov.au or calling 6205 9000.”.

The festive season is starting early at the ACT’s public libraries this year, with special Christmas Story Time sessions as well as art and craft for the children to enjoy from Wednesday 27 November 2013.

“Christmas is a really exciting time of year for the kids and what better way to get into the spirit of things than to take part in the activities on offer at Libraries ACT branches,” said Karen Hansen, Manager of Operations, Libraries ACT.

“The very popular Ernest the Elf or Mrs Claus will join us again this year for our Christmas-themed Story Time sessions for children aged three to five. They have been busy over the last year and are excited to share tales from their time spent in the North Pole with Santa, Rudolph and the other reindeer.”

Christmas Story Time sessions will be held at 10.30 am on the following days:
— Wednesday 27 November 2013 Kippax Library
— Thursday 28 November 2013 Gungahlin Library
— Monday 2 December 2013 Erindale Library
— Tuesday 3 December 2013 Tuggeranong Library
— Wednesday 4 December 2013 Belconnen Library & Woden Library
— Thursday 5 December 2013 Dickson Library
— Friday 6 December 2013 Kingston Library
