ACT Police more trusted than ACT Health, Survey

” alt=”22-44yo Canberran’s do the following..” />Canberrans like getting their news online and trust ACT Police much more than ACT Health according to new research.

Conducted by local advertising firm 2B, the online survey may confirm a bunch of things many of us already suspected – we love screens but aren’t that into free-t0-air television and spend too much time on Facebook. The methodology of the survey opened it up to astroturfing, but it’s an interesting guide to the state of play within ACT’s media and brand space.

Interestingly, print came in as the least trusted form of mainstream media, well behind TV, Radio and Online. More than half of us refuse to pay for online news. Only one in 20 Canberrans believe spending hundred of millions on hosting opera in a fake forest is worth attending and 25 to 34 year-olds are the most likely to complete an online survey.

And in a free kick for Riot Act, the site has quite a brand presence ranking third amongst respondents for websites they have posted on, out of all sites, globally.

But don’t you hate reading someone’s subjective interpretation of data? (Drives me nuts when MSM hacks provide no link to the source material.) Here’s the full PDF of results.

+1

The name ‘2B’ makes it sound like some highschool kids are running the place.

^ That.

What a load.

“ACTEW”

Which one, there’s three retail arms, even more corporate ones.

Also they left RiotACT off the media question, that’s dodgy and in contrast to the published circulations. But it get’s a mention for posting reviews online

Club Lime the most trusted brand? No mention of the Southern Cross Health Club. Obviously they didn’t ask any Catholics.
